A 3D Asteroids style space combat game using the JPCT-AE graphics engine. The goal of the game is to destroy the alien space station in the middle of an asteroid field, protected by enemy gunships and drones.
Your ship is protected by a force field which successively weakens after hits from drones, enemy ships and asteroids. After your shields are down, one more hit from an enemy or asteroid is fatal. Likewise, enemy ships are protected by shields which need to be depleted before they can be destroyed. Drones are not protected, but their purpose is to home in on your ship and detonate, which could prove fatal. Asteroids aren't protected, but they can hit and damage your ship. Not only that, but when they're hit with a laser, they split and form three more smaller but equally damaging asteroids.
After the space station and enemy ships have been disposed of, you can clear out the rest of the asteroids, keeping space safe for humankind.
