Hand massage has a long history in many civilizations. It originated in ancient China about 5000 years ago. The practitioners of hand massage believe there are associations between different areas of the hands and other parts of the body. By applying pressure to certain areas of the hands, pain and stress of other parts of the body can be relieved.
This application ( Hand Massage Map ) provides a detailed map of the hand based on the traditional Chinese medical theory. The users can also browse a list of symptoms and click one to see the corresponding hand massage areas flash and then become highlighted in the map. It is simple, straightforward, and easy to use.
