This is the Town’s Historical Mapping project. We aim to deliver a fun and interesting look into the town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay’s past.
While we attempted to make this project as historically accurate as possible, there are possible errors existing in the locations, dates, or even names of people in the photos included. We had to rely on local knowledge, photo descriptions written on the backs of pictures, and the memories of people submitting photos.
If you notice a discrepancy within the project feel free to e-mail Courtney Dunn at gistech@townhvgb.com or come into the Town office and we can resolve these issues to increase the accuracy of the project. Any feedback is appreciated.
