At Mahomet Animal Hospital, we believe it is a privilege and an honor to be entrusted with the care of a beloved pet and we therefore strive to provide the best possible care for all of our patients. As the pet owner, you are an important part of our “team approach” to providing optimal veterinary care. We value your opinions and consult with you on all matters concerning the health and welfare of your furry companions.
If your pet is sick, our up to date in house laboratory and digital x-ray equipment enhance our ability to reach a diagnosis quickly and begin appropriate treatment in a timely manner.
We have separate feline waiting and exam rooms as well as a separate feline hospital ward. We are also certified in Low Stress Handling for both dogs and cats. If your pet is particularly anxious or hard to handle at the Vet Clinic give us a call and we can discuss some strategies for how we can make their experience a more positive one.
We provide quality care for your pet from the day you bring them home through their senior citizen days. We offer resources on how to get your puppy or kitten off to a good start in life, and we have a lending library of training books and DVD’s at your disposal. We are equally passionate about quality of life issues particularly as it affects our geriatric patients or those with terminal diseases. Such patients deserve to live in comfort and we help them in every way we can.
