The Marvelous Land of OZ is the second book from the OZ-series of American writer Frank Baum. For beginner English learners, it can be difficult to find something easy to understand and interesting enough. OZ-series, from this point of view, a very good choice. Everybody knows story of the first book. But the series consists of 14. And many of the following books are even better than the first.
This app allows you to learn the most common (except the simplest) and the most important words for understanding each chapter before listening it. To memorize words, images and explanations of the meanings by more simple English words are used.
Listening a series of audiobooks by one author is very useful. This is called narrow reading (in this case, "narrow listening"). Authors often use the same words and phrases many times.
