Ancient Writing provides keyboards for many ancient writing systems - Linear A, Linear B, Phaistos Disk, Cuneiform, Anatolian Hieroglyphs, Phoenician and more. The entered text can be saved as a picture. So you can send it easily. The order of the characters on the keyboards corresponds to the Unicode Charts. The Egyptian Hieroglyphs are written in line, not stacked. Ancient Writing is free and does not contain ads.
Using the app on Windows: Ancient Writing works well on Windows using the MEmu App Player. So the first steps are:
- install MEmu and sign in with your Google Account (when signing up, only write the part of your username that precedes the @ sign)
- install Ancient Writing via Google Play
In order to get access to the pictures of the text you make in Ancient Writing, please do the following:
- install a file manager in MEmu via Google Play
- create a text image in Ancient Writing
- copy the image from AncientWritingImages into the folder "Pictures"
- now the picture is available in the Windows folder "C: \ Users \ User \ Pictures \ MEmu Photo"
For short texts, you can also just take a screenshot.
