About BellPal Watch & App
The BellPal Watch, combined with the BellPal App, is a world-class fall detection system that is always with you. After downloading the App, you can choose whether you are a watch user or a follower to someone wearing a watch.
The BellPal Watch contains a self-learning AI engine (artificial intelligence) that identifies and classifies movement patterns, instantaneously detecting a fall. Alarms can also be triggered manually.
In case of a fall, your followers - people chosen by you - are immediately alerted through the BellPal App and can take action to support you. This way, you can rest assured you are never alone.
With BlueStar as a service providing partner to BellPal, you can also choose to subscribe to BlueStar 24/7 emergency center, acting as a primary or secondary line of support. Followers and BlueStar emergency center can both be alerted.
During an alarm, followers, and BlueStar emergency center (if chosen and subscribed to) are included in a transparent and straightforward communication interface within the BellPal App, where your location (geo-position) at that exact time is displayed on a map.
Location services are running in the background; this can reduce battery life on your phone. Only during an alarm is the watch user’s location shared with anyone. The App also uses Bluetooth/central mode to communicate and receive alarms from the BellPal Watch.
