Global Golf's Most Popular Customer Tournament
The Volvo World Golf Challenge is the brand’s global golf event, designed specifically for the customers of today and tomorrow. It captures all the drama and unpredictability of a great golf event, and it has grown steadily since its inception back in 1988, now embracing club golfers from almost 40 countries across the globe.
Tens of thousands of golfers take part yearly and well over a million and a half since the first event began. Each of the ever-increasing number of Volvo markets that takes part runs qualifying events throughout the year that are tailor-made to the desires and demands of that particular market. This means anything from just one or two events, to a season-long program of local tournaments leading to regional and national finals, hosted by Volvo dealers who know and understand the local market and its environment. These events are played at beautiful courses where golfers get the chance to take part in competitive, sociable and professionally-run events whilst spending quality one-to-one time with their Volvo dealers. The winners from each nation qualify for an unforgettable golfing occasion - the World Final.
