AGO Phonics Sound Pad is a fun sound board tool for exploring and learning phonic sounds. It is particularly suited for Kindergarten - grade one and two elementary school students, and EFL / ESL students in their first years of English study. Users can hear clearly voiced phonic sounds and related English vocabulary at the touch of a button via a colorful and intuitive layout! You can switch between male and female voice.
Within the app, there are four pages of sound boards. Each has 36 different target phonemes displayed as buttons on the screen.
Touch a button to hear its sound. Three illustrated high frequency word examples of the target phoneme appear at the bottom of the screen. Touch these to listen to them, too. In total, there are over 450 vocabulary items to practice and learn.
The content and layout matches the best selling AGO Phonics card games series, and makes it quick and easy for those from non-English speaking backgrounds that are playing these games to reference and hear unknown words. Parents with a lack of confidence in their own English pronunciation will benefit from using this app when playing the games.
