PickMyTrash is a waste collection company run by wastepickers. We take your waste, sort it, and recycle it. But we don't pay you for your recyclables like your kabadi-wala does. Instead, we use the revenue for the benefit of children of wastepickers through health and education. In Delhi alone, wastepickers process 2,000 tons of waste and save our municipal corporations 4 crore rupees daily. They protect the environment and keep our cities clean, yet remain impoverished and mistreated by society. PickMyTrash uses the money from your waste to help these people break the vicious cycle of poverty. PickMyTrash is an initiative of the Chintan Foundation, an award-winning organization that advocates for India's waste workers.
