Virtual ERS is an Emergency reporting and dispatch system. It is designed to handle application user emergency/distress reporting as well as categorization and dispatch of these emergencies to the relevant responders. Virtual ERS leverages a range of IBM Watsons APIs to enable seamless interactions between the ERS service and every kind of user and responder. The idea is to speed up greatly the time it takes for a user to report an emergency and the time it takes for the required responders to be on-site. The application also supports a range of accessibility features like speech to text to facilitate usage service usage for the widest range of users.
