Welcome to Sharaqpur Sharif, Tehsil Level Town of Sheikhupura District in the Punjab Province of Pakistan, well known by its shrines and tombs of sufies and saints, specially known by famous saint Hazrat Mian Sher Muhammad (Shere Rabbani).

A flourishing and lush green town famous for its vegitables, fruits and greenery. Situated on Jaranwala road 32 km from Lahore.

This land has produced many, Sufis, saints, writers, journalists, poets, politicians and religious scholars. Their literary and intellectual not impact only on their mother land but also influence the world of knowledge and literature.

The foundation of this Town was laid down at the end era of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan (Born Jan-1592, Death 22-Jan-1666 CE). In 1904 CE Sharaqpur was the Tehsil of Lahore District. In 1911-12 CE Sharaqpur was under District Gujjaranwala. Then it became the sub-Tehsil and now Tehsil of District Sheikhupura.

During the freedom movement of Pakistan the young men of Sharaqpur showed a courageous and momentum role. And they have this distinguish award that, during civil disobedient movement against the British govt. the first squad which was captured, were brave young men of Sharaqpur. Even if the country and nation needed again, the brave and patriot peoples of Sharaqpur, they will never step back.
