LegalSnap is a tool that helps legal professionals track billable hours while working remotely. The app is a means to organize time entries, and quickly email them to a predefined list of recipients, i.e., legal legal assistants. LegalSnap has the following features:
• An organized list of time entries.
• A simple interface where the user enters a subject, billed time, and narrative.
• A custom list of email recipients.
• The export of selected time entries to an email application in a simple format.
• A record of time entries and/or emails sent.
• The email recipients can then copy the narrative to your firm's time management
system.
LegalSnap eliminates the hassle of keeping a handwritten record for time entries and/or losing track of individual emails with time entries.
Sample use cases:
• You are at a deposition in another part of town, and you bill the client two hours of your time. Use LegalSnap to enter a quick note with details, and send to your legal assistant who updates the office billing system.
• You are out of town and just finished a trying a case and want to bill the client for your time.
• You met with a client at the end of the day and don’t plan to return to your office.
