WhereIsMyTMTBus is citizen centric application launched by Thane Municipal Transport Undertaking (TMT) for the citizens of Thane city and all users of TMT bus services. It has the following helpful features:
* Track buses live on the integrated map
* Get route timings and frequency
* Get estimated time of arrival of buses at bus stops
* Plan your travel between locations using the trip planner
* Save your favourite routes to get instant information on the same
* Locate the bus stops nearest to your current location
FAQ:
Planner:
1. Enter your start and stop destination and preferred time of travel.
2. You will receive a list of options to reach your destination using TMT buses.
3. The options may also suggest taking an auto or walking for a short distance to complete the trip to/ from the closest bus stop to your location/ final destination.
4. Click on your preferred option to receive details like fare, list of stops and map of route.
Note: In case there is no TMT service in the chosen origin or destination, it would not be possible for the app to suggest a route, and a message will be displayed as such.
Stops:
1. Finds the closest bus stops to your current location. Using the map or search box you can also find location of TMT bus stops in other parts of Thane, Mumbai and Navi Mumbai.
2. Click on a stop name to see list of TMT route numbers and scheduled time of arrival of the buses on that stop. If available, you will also receive real-time of arrival of the bus.
Routes:
1. Allows you to search for your preferred TMT route number. Directly enter the route number in the search bar or select from the list provided. Be careful to select the right direction of the route .
2. On selecting a route number, you will see a list of all bus stops on that route. If available, you will also receive real-time of arrival of buses operating on that route to the bus stops.
3. Click the star icon on the top right of the screen to set any route as your favourite route. You can now directly search for this route from the favourite button on the home screen.
Feedback:
1. Allows you to send your suggestions and complaints to TMT so that the mobile app as well as bus operations can be improved.
