The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) was enacted in the United States in 1996. This application provides an offline database of the US Code of Federal Regulations Title 45 Parts 160, 162 and 164 which encompass the HIPAA regulations and their amendments. These regulations are current as of 1 October 2017 and include recent provisions for National Instant Criminal Background Check Systems (NICS). This second release of the application includes search functionality and lookup of Health Care Provider from a NPI, search for HCP and search ICD-10 codes.
