SUOMELA-THE FINNISH ASSOCIATION IN FUENGIROLA
For almost 30 years now, Suomela has offered many kinds of quality activities for Finns living or visiting in the Costa del Sol and Fuengirola area. Our offering already covers more than 30 different activities; in an association of almost 1,000 members, there is something for everyone. In addition to hobby activities, music and theatre shows as well as a weekly Saturday dance is organized at the association's facilities. These activities and events have been and will continue to be, very popular due to the simple fact that they have actually been requested and designed by our members, taking care that also new members and various age groups are catered for. One of our newest hobby options is padel. It is a racket game that has become an instant favorite despite the fact that it wasn't previously very familiar to the Finns. Every member can have a say in what we do!
Besides the hobby activities, Suomela's partners provide our members with various membership benefits. Of these, perhaps the most gratefully received is affordable access to play at several of the golf courses in the area. And let's not forget the many valuable discounts available to members at restaurants and hairdressers, for beauty, well being and digital services and even the subscription of the Ole magazine. It's well worth joining the association for these!
