BetPuppy is a "Friendly Wager" app, providing a simple interface for you and your friends, family, or coworkers to make bets with each other. You can use it for bragging rights and talking trash. There's NO money involved, only Points. It's totally up to you if you want to turn Points into coffee with your friends or not. We keep a nice running total for you, showing your plus/minus against your friends.
BetPuppy easily allows you to create a bet, inviting as many friends as you want. There are 4 different types of bets (bet with or against, bet the over or under, pick a number, or pick a date). Each friend decides to take the bet or not to play at all. Whatever Points are used for the wager go into the pot. Each friend that takes the bet will add their Points to the pot. At the end, the winners virtually split the pot.
Any authenticated user, with a verified email, can create a new bet and invite their friends. Each bet has a Point amount per friend that's added to the pot, and an expiration date/time. Invited users decide if they want to play or not. Once the bet expires, the creator of the bet determines who won, lost, or if it was a draw. Each user can see how they are doing against all their friends. There's also a leaderboard, which shows the best and worst players worldwide. Nothing but their 'public' name is shown, which is editable by each user in their settings.
BetPuppy has no ads or marketing. It's purely for fun. All customer communications, email or push notifications, are related to ongoing friendly wagers only.
