Abiri App provides digital maps in areas Google Maps cannot reach in Africa, especially townships, slums and rural areas - linking them with cities for seamless travel. We use drones, equipped with advanced cameras to map these areas, then use images to create canvases on which our digital maps are created. The ultimate plan is to offer digital integration to socially and economically disadvantaged communities, which will unlock township and rural economy. This comes with useful road and trip information such as tollgates places and their prices, fuel consumption per vehicle for the trip to be taken, border posts required details for travellers and their vehicles as well as smart convoy. The system also offer intelligent information to travellers such as road conditions ahead, e.g., unpaved road in the next 15 km; steep winding mountainous road for 10 km, etc. Commuters can also find the nearest taxi ranks close to them using the system.
