This NOYO app was designed as a communication tool between young people in care and their Social Workers and/or PAs. This version of the App is a pilot project for the Western Health & Social Care Trust 16+ Pathway team.
It is important to note that this is a closed system and you must be registered as a young person or a staff member to be able to use it. Once you have registered the App will only become usable when the account has been authorized. Until that point the account will not be active.
The features include the following:
• The NOYO app is developed for iOS devices
• It includes a full live messaging system between staff and young people
• An SOS button is available with direct dial to the following emergency services:
- 999
- Lifeline
- Childline
- Out of Hours Social Worker
• A full events management system is incorporated
This event management system is included to let staff and young people know of existing upcoming and events that are relevant to staff and young people. Users will be asked to confirm attendance which will be of great benefit to the organizers and young people.
This is a first version of the NOYO App and enhancements to the App will be ongoing with many advanced features.
