ColorMe has you covered. The ColorMe app matches your current foundation shade to all brands!
ColorMe Founder, Ziba Youssofi was a stay at home mother of two young children, and found herself struggling to find the time and energy to get to the makeup counters at the mall. She started looking at alternate makeup choices when shopping at more frequented retailers like drug stores. With no testing samples or reference, Ziba grew frustrated with the difficulty in finding her shade in alternate brands. After purchasing multiple brands and colors of foundation, based on the appearance of the color of the liquid in the bottle; and still not finding the right match, Ziba developed the idea of a simple tool that could help consumers everywhere.
Joining forces with longtime friend and now business partner, Nadia Kelly came on as Co-Founder to ColorMe. They collaborated together to research foundation products, brands and shades; while also conducting focus groups using test samples on a variety of models, widely ranging in age and skin color/ type. The focus assisted in validating matches made between shades.
The end result is ColorMe, a platform for all foundation users to be able to shop at any physical retailer or on-line with confidence, using the current brand and shade as the base to match to other brands and shades.
