LeapOn is a role play game of persuasion to learn and practice English communication. The mission is to move environmentally damaging activities from Earth to a newly discovered planet. Act as the project leader and use your skills to influence key members to join you. Listen carefully, understand needs, strategize your conversation for persuasion. Your success depends on how you build trust, make emotional connections, and provide evidence with logic and facts.
Our game is about leadership, persuasion, and communication skills to fight for a cause that is key to human civilization. The Arctic has melted 10 times faster in the last 10 years compared to the past 60 years. Hundreds of islands in the Indian Ocean are on the verge of getting submerged. The “Garbage Patch” in the Pacific Ocean is said to be greater than the size of the Texas. A UN Report states that only 90 companies on earth have impacted two thirds of global warming. LeapOn is a mission to move environmentally damaging activities on Earth such as mining and large-scale production to a newly developed, inhabitable, and mineral-rich planet.
You are the project leader of LeapOn! You will use your communication and decision-making skills to influence key members to join you on this mission. You will be challenged to listen carefully, understand needs, and strategize your conversation for persuasion.
As you work through the challenges of the game’s story and extraordinary mission, your conversation skills will be tested constantly. As a result, your ability, fluency, and confidence to interact successfully in English will improve.
Our goal for this learning App is to give real time practice in English to improve your conversation strategy, reading and listening skills, and the ability to recognize appropriate responses and use them in successfully to make winning conversations.
