Once installed, the AmpaCash Mobile Payment App can be loaded with cash from your bank account, debit card or credit card. It is a phone cash account from which you can send money to anyone in the US with an Android or Apple phone or pay for purchases online or in a physical store. Online payments can be as small as 1c or as much as $1,000. For a fee, you can request a Debit Card from the app menu, which is mailed to you. The Debit Card, once activated, is linked to the cash on your AmpaCash phone account and can be used for online or in-store payments, and to draw the cash on your phone from an ATM. The Debit Card can be deactivated directly from the app menu if is lost or stolen. In the same way, the AmpaCash account with the cash it holds can be “Unloaded” and transferred to another phone or bank account. This can be done either from the app menu or from the AmpaCash website, and is useful if the phone is lost, stolen, or replaced by you. You may also lock your AmpaCash phone account temporarily for a time period ranging from 15 minutes to 72 hours, during which no transactions can be performed and your dollar balance is hidden. The phone on which AmpaCash is installed and loaded is your default and is required to perform all transactions.
