The 'Kids in Space' app is based on a teacher's coursebook “Op Schoolreis naar de Maan” made by the Observatory Armand Pien of the Ghent University. The app is meant to support teachers in primary schools when teaching about space related topics. It follows the same structure and content as the coursebook, it also provides the teachers with digital quizzes and in addition, it provides an immersive storyline, and several game elements to motivate the children during these classes.
