PlanIt allows users to create a schedule table for a given event. Users can create and customize groups, which can hold members to handle jobs during the event. PlanIt's algorithm finds the most favourable schedule for any event based on several user-controlled factors:
*Member availability
*Qualifications required for certain jobs
*Members preferred for certain jobs
*Balanced workload amongst members
Events consist of timeslots and jobs, which can be added, removed, and customized to the user's liking. Similarily, groups consist of members. Users can customize a member's availability during any event. In addition, users can add qualifications and preferences to jobs and members, restricting or influencing which members can be scheduled for certain jobs. Finally, all of these factors are run through PlanIt's algorithm, returning a table detailing the most favourable schedule. The schedule can then be exported to Google Sheets. Events can also be updated to the user's Google Calendar through the app.
