Smartphones serve us daily in many areas and it's commonly
agreed that we cannot live without them.
In fact, they are pretty sophisticated machines; they have high speed
CPUs, high resolution cameras, accurate GPS capabilities, fingerprint
recognition, accelerometer, a gyro, proximity sensor, compass, barometer
and more, but they lack on one thing: they don't have emotions.
Project Budd-e gives you a simulation of exactly that.
Budd-e's features
Budd-e is an app that aims to give your cellphone a personality.
Budd-e utilizes the phone's components. He "sees" using the camera,
"feels" using the sensors, "hears" using the microphone and more. The
relationship with the user contributes to his feelings, and the current
phone status (battery, reception etc.) affects his mood.
According to the interaction with the user, Budd-e may act differently
so each user gets a personalized experience.
I developed the app as part of my studies. It demands many permissions, just to get you into the experience.
