A mantra is a word from Sanskrit (Old Indian) and translated it means saying, song or hymn. Slow Down has edited and arranged a total of six mantras and had been produced by Volker Dorsch and Erik Millgramm. Musically, the production was supported by the harmonium (Cher-Ginger Baretta) or with keyboard, piano, percussion (Volker Dorsch) and guitar (Erik Millgramm).
The musical work-up remains fundamentally traditional and breaks through in a pleasant way old listening habits, without losing the magic of a mantra and its power.
The central focus of each mantra is the beautiful voice of Cher-Ginger. Singing and musical arrangement are combined to form a very dense, meditative atmosphere. Through this combination, Slow Down succeeds in achieving the effect originally intended by the mantras. To calm the mind and purify the subconscious as well as to break negative vibrations.
By calming the mind, the mantras are said to have healing properties. Sing along, let your body feel the vibrations and relax.

For the app itself, the sign "Om" was deliberately chosen. It is the oldest mantra and is still considered to be sacred for the symbol of divine power. Om is called the universal primal sound. Depending on which grammatical doctrines and / or spellings one follows, the Sanskrit alphabet begins with the O and ends with the M. It is argued that with the Om everything that can be described in words can be expressed.
The Slow Down Mantra has a playing time of around 35 minutes, divided into six mantras. Every single mantra has a so-called loop effect, i. e. each mantra is repeated as long as you interrupt it. The app can be downloaded for free. Further costs do not arise in the app.
