Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) will be holding its first ever Mutual Fund Summit in financial capital of the country, Mubai. Shri Ajay Tyagi, Chailman of SEBI, Will inaugurate the Summit and preside over as the Chief Guest of the Summit.
The Indian Mutual fund industry has been witnessing robust growth since the last few years, with assets under management growing steadily and consistently crossing new milstones month after month in the past couple of year touching 20 trillion. However, the growth in the customer base has not kept pace and mutaul funds have reamained largely underpenetrated.
The Summit will serve as a great platform to facilitate thought provoking discussions between all industry stake holders including asset managers, distributors, leveraging on digital technology and take learning from other industries to lay the foundation towards expanding the mutual fund customer base.
