This Beta version of the new WaterNav App provides you with an opportunity to try out our progress developing the latest and greatest version of WaterNav.
This new version, developed from the ground up, aims to improve the speed and functionality of the existing WaterNav apps, bringing all regions into one app, and adding route planning and much more.
The new WaterNav app is still under highly active development, with some features of the old app not yet available.
Please note while in the Beta all regions are available free of charge, however once the app is released they will be available through in-app purchases. Of course, any regions already purchased will be yours still in the new version.
WaterNav apps provide an enormous amount of really useful, easy to access, information and make use of Smartphone GPS to show everything relative to where you are. The maps display thousands of continually updated points of interest (such as pubs, shops, vets, diesel, moorings, etc), as well as all the waterway information such as locks, bridges, turning points, etc. These are the essential towpath companions for boaters, ramblers, cyclists or anyone else enjoying the waterways.
An essential feature of WaterNav is that they are off-line, so there is no interruption due to the poor Internet connection on the canals!
