The SMART STAT app works in conjunction with the patient simulator, SMART STAT, developed by Simulaids, to enable all disciplines of health care professionals to sharpen their assessment and decision-making skills in the environment they work. Every aspect of realistic and challenging scenarios can be worked out, from basic life support skills to the most advanced life saving procedures, all without risk to patients. When the app is used with the Patient Simulator, EMT’s, Paramedic, Nurses, Firefighters, Combat Medics, Clinical Students, Healthcare Education Instructors and first responders can practice real life scenarios to better prepare for daily challenges of their profession. The simple steps of making selections on the iPad allow any level of instructor to easily challenge their peers.
