The Phy Browser is a reimagined user experience for discovering digital content linked to real-world places and things through QR Codes and Bluetooth Beacons. When that content is created and managed through Phy (physical-to-mobile content platform for QR codes, NFC tags, and Bluetooth beacons), the user experience through the Phy Browser is fast, image-rich, and engaging.
The Phy Browser uses the Phy SDK to show what user experiences are now possible with QR codes and Bluetooth beacons. Mobile apps that use the Phy SDK will be able to replicate the user experiences available now in the Phy Browser.

Links in the Real World -- Hyperlinks can be added to any real-world object or place using QR codes and Bluetooth beacons. Those links can launch a wide variety of digital experiences tailored to a user’s context and interest -- product websites, rich media, text or phone interaction, business chat, transactional messaging, and even IoT (Internet of Things) control or AR (augmented reality) experiences.
Discover through Browsing -- The Phy Browser makes those hyperlinks discoverable through QR Codes and Bluetooth Beacons.
Reimagined QR Experience -- There are a lot of QR Codes out there, and most QR scanners deliver an underwhelming user experience. We imagined a transformative user experience to finally make QR Codes handy and engaging for today’s smartphone generation.
Better Beacon Experience -- When you open the Phy Browser, it scans for nearby Bluetooth Beacons (specifically Eddystone-URL beacons, aka Physical Web beacons). If any are found, the Phy Browser will show previews of their content.
