English is an international language and is one of the most basic skills you would need to survive in the world today. It doesn’t matter which part of the world you are from, you may need to learn English to communicate and succeed.
We all have different reasons for learning English: travels, work purposes, getting to know people from all around the world, education purposes, etc. Most students find it difficult to compete with others with a better grasp of vocabulary, especially in English tests. The VOCABLY iOS application is ideal for either the students studying for TOEFL, IELTS, SAT and GRE, or anyone looking to boost their vocabulary.
VOCABLY has two main phases:
1- VOCABULARY TRAINING:
IT allows you to study 504 English essential words categorized in 42 Lessons. Each Lesson has 12 words that presented using virtual flashcards. Each card contains a bunch of Information about the word (part of a speech, meaning, translation, relevant images, pronunciation letter, synonyms, antonyms, and 3 sample sentences).
You can mark a difficult word for later reviews. The Marked words are listed in the Bookmark tab categorized by lessons.
2. VOCABULARY CHALLENGE:
Once you are ready to test your vocabulary, you can go to the Review tab. There is a review plan for each lesson. You can challenge yourself several times in a particular lesson’s review. Reviews are sequential. It means that each review remains locked until you pass the previous one. You can trace your learning performance by following review results for each lesson. Also, there is a quiz after passing each 3 lessons for deeper learning.
P.S.: Currently, VOCABLY is a free application and we have to load Ads to earn money. Also running at the least possible inconvenience to you is a primary concern for us. Therefore, we tried our best to have Ads in the parts which bother you in the least.
