SCOSSO is a simple, user-friendly but yet a powerful tool for rapid visual surveying of structures with any material and characteristics. The app is capable of evaluating the vulnerability of the structure against possible hazards, such as earthquake, hurricane or flood. The app can assist and swift the post surveying process by providing a thorough dataset on the building’s general information, existing hazards, building geometry, structural system and characteristics, along with potential vulnerable factors. By automatic identification of the most vulnerable cases, the user can implement an efficient strategy for retrofitting, rehabilitation or replacement.
The app is fully functional offline for areas short of cellular or wireless internet connectivity. While, all input and processed data can be stored securely on the cloud and can be accessed on demand at any time and location.
The app is particularly design for educational buildings and school, however, the features can be applied to any residential, commercial or industrial structure.
