Welcome to MemoryQuiz, an app created by two high school students!
MemoryQuiz is an app that establishes and reinforces familial connections in seniors that may be experiencing memory loss and other diseases. The app uses family photos and information about family members to create interactive quizzes. These quizzes help seniors recall past memories and retain facts about their family members. Users can input pictures from the device’s photo library and add information about each person, building upon a database of family members. MemoryQuiz can then generate unique quizzes which helps reinforce memories about specific people, events, and occasions in the past.
Dementia-related diseases such as Alzheimer's are severe issues in the senior population today. Perhaps more heartbreaking than a senior forgetting his/her life memories is one who forgets his/her own friends, siblings, and even children. We wanted to bring the nostalgic feeling of looking through a photobook accessible through an easy-to-use interface.
