Price Converter features the following useful conversions:
• Price per Pound to Price per Kilogram
• Price per Kilogram to Price per Pound
• Price per US Gallon to Price per UK Gallon and to Price per Liter
• Price per UK Gallon to Price per US Gallon and to Price per Liter
• Price per Liter to Price per US Gallon and to Price per UK Gallon
While the first two conversions would be very helpful mostly for grocery prices, the last three would be of great help for gasoline prices at the gas station as well!
Experiment in Version 2.1: Price per Cur, "1 currency unit equals", see the example!
EXAMPLE:
Swedish tourist is looking at the red grape's price at the grocery store in Florida $4.99/lb and is wondering how it would translate to Swedish Krona per Kilogram.
She knows that 1 US Dollar equals 8.72 Swedish Krona today. Steps to follow:
Step 1. Type 4.99 in "Per Lb" box.
Step 2. Type 8.72 in "Per Cur" box.
The reverse example is when an American tourists is visiting Sweden:
Step 1. Type the price of a product in "Per Kg" box.
Step 2. Type 1 Swedish krona equals $ for the day in the "Per Cur" box (for example $0.115).
He will get the idea about the $/lb price for this product, happy shopping!
