Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. CycleSac is a smartphone app that uses your phone's GPS to record your bike routes in real-time, and lets you rate the quality of the bike route by recording your comfort level on the ride. This anonymous data is collected by the Sacramento Area Council of Governments to help transportation planners and analysts in El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento, Sutter, Yolo, and Yuba counties make our region better place to ride a bike.
