Rentuur makes renting a two-way search; matching landlords (and their properties) to prospective tenants.
Tenants create a profile of themselves, and if applicable can include pictures and information about pets and anyone else they are planning to rent with. Tenants can also upload private photos e.g. reference letters, which can then be made public to a specific landlord. In their profile, tenants select the property characteristics they are looking for, and can choose to include a blurb about themselves and what kind of rental property they are looking for.

Both parties select the specific country, province or state, and city of their property or where they are looking to rent. Parties filter each other by location. Parties can choose to search in invisible mode, so that others are not able to see their profile or contact them.
Each party can contact the other if they are interested via the in-app messenger and then decide if they would like to arrange a viewing of the property.
Landlords and tenants can choose to keep their profiles active (and in invisible mode) even after they successfully complete the renting process. This way the next time they have to find a rental or a tenant all their have to do is make their profile visible and start searching.
