1. What is MobileRoam service ?
MobileRoam service is one of the suite of VoIP Services provided by Netpluz Asia that allows you to call to more than 150 countries and receive calls without incurring any roaming charges while in overseas.
2. What do I get when I subscribe to the MobileRoam Service ?
You will receive your Account details, i.e. username and password and a Level 3 number.
3. How do I use the MobileRoam service ?
For the first time, you have to enter your username and password in the MobileRoam App to use it. MobileRoam App allows you to make and receive call, provided you have a data connection for example, WiFi or 4G connection. Whenever your Level 3 number is called, you can answer the call on your MobileRoam App.
4. What are the benefits of using the MobileRoam service ?
When you make call or receive call while in overseas, you do not incur any Roaming Charges by your Telco. MobileRoam service allows you to change your caller ID. You can choose to display your Mobile Number or your Level 3 number to the receiver of the call.
When there is a Miss Call, a Miss call notification will be sent to your email address.
5. When I travel to overseas country, I would like to be still contacted by my mobile number. Can MobileRoam support this ?
Yes. You can set your phone call forward to the Level 3 number. When you are in overseas, and someone call your mobile number, your MobileRoam App will ring.
6. Do I have to purchase voice SIM cards of the country I travel to in order to use MobileRoam service ?
No. There is no need to purchase any voice SIM card. As long as you have a data connection, for example WiFi or 4G, you can use MobileRoam service.
7. How can I view my call history?
Call history is provided in your MobileRoam App. It will show the date and time of call and the destination number called.
