Assignments
Setting class and homework assignments is super-fast and straightforward. Students are notified of the task and can submit it at any time, straight from their iPads.
Marking & feedback
Sparkjar has a range of options for marking, including pen, text and voice annotation, whilst our unique feedback tools reduce repetition when marking multiple pieces of work.
Marksheet
All marks given to student submissions are transferred into a class marksheet. At the tap of a button you can view student activity on each task set, including whether individuals have read or listened to your feedback on returned work. You can also filter according to the groups you’ve set up, making it easy to keep track of the progress of specific students in your classes.
Chat
Sparkjar makes communication with classes and individual students easy via chat, with teacher-moderated whole class and individual chat rooms, and the option to create chats for groups within your classes.
Groups
The groups feature allows you to quickly assign students into groupings of your choice. These could be user-defined groups for tracking, such as prior attainment bands, EAL or SEND, or project groups for assignments.
