We have created our own custom data model to help the Small Spot Market Carriers understand market conditions before the week starts. The app takes numerous indexes from SONAR data platform and rate history from DAT, in order to provide rate predictions for the upcoming week. These are by no means meant to predict the rate YOU should charge but, used to help plan your routing for the week ahead, based on moving market conditions. It will show you the rates most likely to be what the AVG carrier is moving for, so you can then apply your own rates from your experience and formulate a data-based routing/negotiating strategy.
