EyeCYou is an assistive technology for the visually impaired using sound to convey human presence to the user; it provides a suitable number of descriptions of the (human) person’s physical appearance.
Simply point the phone camera towards person to identify, and click on the snap button. The app will speak the description of the person identified back to you.
With features provided by EyeCYou, the visually impaired have more social awareness, have more independence, removes their social insecurity, and most importantly, a way to manage the early stages of blindness. EyeCYou compared to other technologies is portable, convenient to use, requires no training whatsoever before the users can start using it and it provides the features not obtainable in other technologies.
