TypeWay supports 10-finger typing with automatic adaptation of the key configuration (landscape mode).
TypeWay starts with a „Default“ configuration. It automatically adapts to hands and typing habits. By „Restore“ a configuration is used which has been
saved („Save“) as favorite.
For beginners the slow adaptation is recommended,
please choose in TypeWay’s „Settings“. The keyboard layout offers English and German with several international accents (choose in „Settings“).
„Freeze“ fixes the actual key configuration.
„Unfreeze“ activates adaptation.
iOS features are integrated, as cut, copy & paste, spell-checker, suggestions for word correction. TypeWay supports fast typing, e.g. for protocols, lesson-scripts, interviews, mails, and basic text editing.
TypeWay as app:
Activate the separate app by a tap on the icon.
“New” opens a new text file. “Edit” and “Rename” can delete or rename text notes.
For text export the share button offers e.g. Mail, Twitter,
AirDrop, Print, DropBox, Pages ...
TypeWay as general keyboard:
For use in various iPad-applications (as „third party keyboard”) the installation of TypeWay offers the question for „Full Access“. It can be activated or deactivated in the iPad settings > general > keyboard > keyboards > TypeWay > Full Access
(TypeWay does not need connected internet, and does not secretly transfer information.) Each keyboard shows the Globe Button to switch between available keyboards.
