THE BACKSTORY
While doing research in the basement of Bardle Bookshop, one of the oldest bookstores in Boston famous for its large collection of rare and first edition books, Rose stumbles upon a portal into the fictional world of her favorite stories.
She discovers strange omissions and additions to scenes from the stories, including objects that don't belong to a book’s period, items and artifacts that are missing, characters that are abducted, and mysteriously altered plots.
Rose finds ancient runes (magic spells written on parchment) that appear to cast evil spells on the stories, pointing to a mastermind looking to control the world of stories. As the great great granddaughter of Dr. Watson, Rose has the lineage to investigate the mysterious changes. However, the enchantment appears to be growing stronger and Rose needs your help to find and rid these beloved stories of this evil menace.
