The main goal of the program is to fix the time intervals (tracks) associated with the tasks, and the subsequent presentation of information in the form of reports for the analysis of the use of time. Also, the oversight of the distributed and used time over the planned time for each task is monitored.
The list of tasks has a tree structure. Root elements are the categories of tasks: "Current", "Archive", "Basket", "Suspended" and "Scheduled". Categories differ only in name and in that when the application opens the "Current" category, otherwise their behavior is absolutely identical. The number of tasks in each category and the number of subtasks in tasks and subtasks is unlimited.
For each task is displayed:
- The name of the task, the number of tracks and their total time (if available);
- Planned Time (PT);
- Distributed Time (DT), which is equal to the sum of PT only immediate subtasks (if any);
- Used Time (UT), which is equal to the total track time of this task and all its subtasks.
If the DT or UT exceeds the PT, it is displayed in red, respectively. If the DT or UT exceeds the PT in any subtask, it is displayed accordingly on a red background.
Widget
To visualize the last task, quickly turn on / off the tracking and start the program is a widget. The time update occurs only when tracking is enabled, automatically, once per minute. The widget has 3 controls: 1 - the name of the task, when you click on the title of the task, the application opens; 2 - timer icon, when pressed, turns on / off the countdown; 3 - time, when pressed, there is an immediate forced update of the time on the widget.
