Enactus University of Ghana has embarked on a waste segregation project in Ghana to encourage the practice of sanitation. In partnership with recycling and waste management companies this application has been developed to connect the community to recycling and waste management companies to come together to champion the cleaning of our beloved country through segregation of waste.
The app has a number of waste management and recycling companies with their current locations and contact details, so when the segregated waste are full in schools, corporate bodies and households, the locals would then use the app to locate the available recycling company on the app and request for their services by sending a request to a chosen recycling company. Once the request is sent, the company will automatically pick up the location of the citizen which will make tracking of citizens requesting for the company’s services very easy and convenient.
