• TaRa is an android application designed for the land transportation services specifically for PUVs. The intended application will provide different various software’s components such as android platform with the used of GPS locator. This study aimed to help commuters in tracking and routing PUVs and to help them identify in ease what PUVs has a vacant seat’s approaching in a specific place and approximate time of arrival in a designated destination. With the help of vehicle tracking system which is an example of an advanced and enhanced system which allows the user to track a certain vehicle with the use of technology, GPS Locator. With the use of this PUV locator, commuters have the chance to know the location details of a certain vehicle and do also have access with the use of their android mobile phone. The user can view this with the help of google map. With these purpose, the proponents will modify the GPS to the android platforms as the main processing unit. The whole system would function with the use of the software components and the intended users can see the places that will be travelled by a specific vehicle. With this intended way, the users can get the real-time location details of a certain vehicle with an ease of use and definitely less hassle.
