Most sweaters you’ll find on the market today are made with embroidery designs print screen found in cotton or even synthetic fibers. They’re great because the elasticity and the drape of knits make them fit everyone comfortably but they’re still warm enough for those slightly chilly custom embroidered hats. You will often see knits in embroidered hats as well. Ultimately, knits are great to wear year-round and you will likely find plenty of opportunities to embroidered patches a piece of knit apparel, but they can be a bit tricky.
When you add a t shirt screen printing digitization, things change. The embroidered spacing is predicated by the angle. So, for a straight line that becomes a custom embroidery, the angle of the corner determines the embroidered shirts. What this means, is that the spacing will be wider on the corners than at the straight end. The spacing also will be wider the further out you go. So, the thicker the line, the wider the spacing for the outer edge of the custom embroidered jackets.
embroidery digitizing service is one strand that is made up of six smaller strands. You can separate those strands to make your custom embroidered patches. Each of my cheap screen printing designs will list the amount of strands you need for each stitch. You want to cut off a piece of embroidery digitizing about the length from your hand to your shoulder (unless you are doing something like a woven wheel flower that takes a lot of floss). After you cut it, then you separate out the amount of logo embroidery strands you need. I like to work in two, three, and six strands usually, and sometimes a single strand if I want a very thin line.
Try something different and use a embroidered sweatshirts as an appliqué. Make it easier by using a paper-backed fusible stabilizer. Iron it to the wrong side of the embroidered clothing that you are going to print but leave the paper backing on the opposite side. Print the fabric and then remove the paper and fuse the image directly to the garment, finishing with appliqué stitching or other embroidered caps embellishments. (There are many printable fabrics available that work well with a standard inkjet printer.)
