Learn more about the history of the Philippines! Panandâ lets you explore the historical markers and commemorative plaques installed by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) and its predecessor agencies.
You can browse the historical markers either on an interactive map or as a list, and you can bookmark individual historical markers or mark them as visited. The app also has a filter feature that shows you markers by region or markers that are near you if you enable GPS.
Panandâ uses data from Wikidata and photos from Wikimedia Commons, which are sister projects of Wikipedia. The app currently contains data on 1105 historical markers and links to 1237 photos.
