We are a collective of Maori creatives working with digital technology to breathe life into our vision for the technological world - Te Ao Hangarau.
From graphic design, to animation, to videography and photography, we work together to use these traditional digital disciplines in, with and for our own traditions. We are digital natives in so many senses. We are the native people of our mighty nation, Aotearoa. Our generations are native to the world of computers, the internet and advanced digital technology.
We see the digital world as no different to when our tupuna discovered new land and technology. We adapt and claim this space as ours to create and innovate for the next generation, connecting tikanga and whakapapa to the digital world.
Our core values are immersed in the realm of kaupapa Māori. We believe in the intergenerational transfer of knowledge and with our collective abilities, we are motivated to change the lives of our iwi, whanui and the rangatahi.
