Our application's objective is allowing skiers to find on-the-ground ski resort’s reality, and to bring more skiers to the slopes.
With SKICAST Skiers have all the information required to determine when they'll head for the slopes.
We've created 3 types of information that are relevant to skiers and that for the next 7 days.
- Detailed snow conditions
- Family and Expert ratings
- Predominant weather on the resort during skiable hours (9AM to 4PM)
Snow conditions forecast
We have classified ski conditions under 9 categories, each described by a special icon.
Ratings are a simple way for average skiers and families to represent what their day on the slopes will be. For example, a snowfall of 20 cm (9 inches) would be classified as A++ for experts but only C for families, due to the higher difficulty.
The application is showing the weather forecast but only during resorts' opening hours.
We give ourselves the mission to provide ski forecast with an accuracy of 90 to 95%
