EcDEESHA Foundation, based in Gujarat and a network member of the PPCB initiative, is conducting healthy lifestyle programs for school children under its school health program called “Students’ Health Action through Recreational Physical Education and Nutrition (S.H.A.R.P.E.N)”. As a part of this initiative, children are exposed to fun-filled yet educational workshops delivering basic knowledge of healthy nutrition, active lifestyle (Physical activity) and life-saving skills such as Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) at the time of emergencies. A virtual network of volunteers by the name FighterTeens will regularly update dedicated social media portals with the stories emerging from these workshops and interact with interested organizations.
